So it is looking like Cyndi Lauper has returned with the colors to prove it. Fancy Funky hair is everywhere from the cheerleading squad to the runways. I am so surprised that I put a piece in my hair and EVERYONE loves it. I get compliments where ever I go. I  have decided its time for some inspiration.  I have been doing hair since 1986 (yep It's true).   I have been through many color lines but after working with another stylist's color line I have decided to go back to Goldwell. Do you have trouble recreating that perfect salon blowout?  Maybe it's your brush. It occurred to me as I was styling a clients hair I should let you guys in on a little secret...it's all in the brush.  I prefer any type of Marilyn brush for the silkiest of blowouts. http://marilynbrush.com/   The reason being they are composed of boars hair bristles which will not pull or break off the hair. The Grammy's will always inspire fashion and this year it is Blonde hands down. Kimberly Perry of the Band Perry wore it best. Messy sexy short beach waves of a rock goddess, very chic.  Rihanna sported a similar  long version of the same. Thank God natural texture is coming around again. Will the free spirit of the 70's make it back on the runways ? I think so !!!!  Braids and teased ombre blonds are just the beginning.

Welcome 2012!!! Here's hoping everyone has beautiful hair in the next year to come.
