Bridal Makeup

Your bridal makeup should enhance your natural beauty. You want to look flawless, clean and dewy on the day of your nuptials. Personally I don’t prefer the look of airbrush for bridal. It tends to be a little matte and dull. But still it is the bride’s choice. Makeup Artist Amanda Nieves recommends Illumina Minerals . A natural mineral line that she created herself. Makeup artist palettes for the bride should be neutral colors such are creams, pinks, violets, plums and browns and a shimmer of gold or peach in the right places highlights the brides features.

Think outside the Bun

NYC Fashion week is the best place to find modern and edgy hairstyles on the runway. This model is from the Reverie by Melissa show. Classic hairdressing is making a comeback back particularly in bridal. I love that the elegant bun hair style was taken to the extreme. Don't think that you can't pull off a look just because you have never worn your hair that way before. It could turn out to compliment every aspect of your personality. To achieve this look simply pull hair back in a tight high side ponytail, tease hair spray with light hold spray like Paul Mitchell Working Spray and wrap hair around the elastic and secure with pins as you go.
