Much like the economic culture we are in hair is always an indicator of the times. We will definitely be seeing a more polished American women coming out of the salon no more fake hair or  long curling iron down do's . Glamorous finger waves and locks that remind us of Kathryn Hepburn have been showing up at the awards shows and runways. When I moved here seven years ago I was the only one using a curling iron. Now is seems like everyone. has caught on. Do you think  possibly everyone will realize that those long fake waist length locks  the Housewives are sporting need to go?  Mark my words when Mad Men ever does make it's appearance back on television  the chic and never outdated BOB will return with a vengeance. Or at least shorter hair because everyone needs a change every now and then.

Another great summer wedding I had the privilege of being a part of was Lady and tom who got married at Shades of green.

Hey everyone I just wanted to share a few pictures from Lindsay and Matt's wedding at the Church Street Ballroom. She looked so pretty that day and was glowing from head to toe.

I know we girls love to get our hair done but you are probably thinking of other vendors as well. I had the privilege of going to the AFR EVENT and got to taste the most delectable food . Upper Crust Catering and Cakery served a finger licking short rib and potatoes. The best I have ever eaten. Now normally I tell y'all about hair but I loved this place so much I just had to share. All eyes were on the bride and groom who graciously invited me to be a part of the spectacular nuptials. It was such a blessing for me to watch my friend who has been a client for many years take a leap of love. The ceremony was amazing and I actually cried which is rare considering I have seen so many brides. Maureen was glowing and I am so grateful to her. That was one incredible memory for me as well as The Gladdings and everyone who witnessed. Thanks Again for everything.

I don't know about you but I have always enjoyed seeing the infamous Red Carpet and the Golden globes did not disappoint this year. I particularly loved Anne Hathaway's simple but gorgeous hair. The shine and color is divine. My other favorite pick was Christina Hendricks . That fiery red can only be worn by a certain fierce lady. This year has started out with a bang in Winter Garden at Vintage Sky salon. I am excited as my wedding business is taking off this year and I look forward to growing with my new referral program. The town of Winter Garden is also developing and with that I hope to see lots of new faces to make them as beautiful as possible. I'd like to be the one who is known for keeping friends beautiful.
