Who doesn't love a good dry shampoo! Joico Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo is an aerosol dry shampoo that has a fresh clean scent and works really well on your hair to get through those rough days when you do not have time to go through the usual routine of shampoo,  condition, and blow-dry.  Joico Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo does not feel dry or sticky  The aerosol sprays evenly into your hair without build-up. Some dry shampoos can be white.I like that Joico Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo does not do this and it smells amazing! This is because Joico Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo has Aluminum Starch, Willow, and Manuka Extracts which will absorb excess oils from your hair. This lets you freely brush out your without any residue So you can keep you blowouts longer. According to Joico’s website, it has Bio-Advanced Peptide Complex and soy proteins that reconstructs damaged strands and add the gloss. It is super easy to use.  just shake well and spray all over your hair especially at the root area where dirt and oil have really built up in your hair.  With any dry shampoo, I like to really work in into the roots with my hands. One thing I noticed was that with Joico Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo I had a lot of body and fullness. I was quite happy about this. Usually, dry shampoos can act more like a hairspray. This one does not, It has 0 hold so you may want hairspray as well.  Your hair will feel fresh and bouncy and full and look amazing.

Brush Education

Do you have trouble recreating that perfect salon blowout?  Maybe it's your brush. It occurred to me as I was styling a clients hair I should let you guys in on a little secret...it's all in the brush.  I prefer any type of Marilyn brush for the silkiest of blowouts. http://marilynbrush.com/   The reason being they are composed of boars hair bristles which will not pull or break off the hair. Each Marilyn brush is designed for specific hair types and provides fullness and volume or a completely straight  finish.  I find the brush to do most of the work for me. Happy New Year

Welcome 2012!!! Here's hoping everyone has beautiful hair in the next year to come.
