'Tis the Season

Much like the economic culture we are in hair is always an indicator of the times. We will definitely be seeing a more polished American women coming out of the salon no more fake hair or  long curling iron down do's . Glamorous finger waves and locks that remind us of Kathryn Hepburn have been showing up at the awards shows and runways. When I moved here seven years ago I was the only one using a curling iron. Now is seems like everyone. has caught on. Do you think  possibly everyone will realize that those long fake waist length locks  the Housewives are sporting need to go? Mark my words when Mad Men ever does make it's appearance back on television  the chic and never outdated BOB will return with a vengeance. Or at least shorter hair because everyone needs a change every now and then.

Celebrity Weddings

Celebrity weddings are a great inspiration. Usually ahead of the trend most celebrity brides keep it simple. I absolutely loved Carrie Underwood's hair on the cover of People (www.people.com). This neat tousled up style can be transformed later for the reception into a sexy flow of curls. To achieve her style wrap large section's of hair around a medium barrel curling iron, spray using a light hold hairspray like Aquage's finishing spray and secure with a few bobby pins.

Happy New Year

Welcome 2012!!! Here's hoping everyone has beautiful hair in the next year to come. I want t thank all my clients past and present for continuing to support me professionally and personally. I feel like  2012 is going to be the best year for me.  I want to extend the referral  program to you again this year so REFER REFER REFER  and receive $25.00 off for each client you send. It has really helped me to build and stay put in Winter Garden. I also  want to ask for any feedback or what you would like to see more of this year so I can grow as a stylist. I have been shopping around for new products and continuing education this year for some cutting techniques. As always what's old is new again with a twist.  I look forward to meeting all your hair and beauty needs in 2012.
